My name is Stacey Weiss-Grogan but feel free to call me Mrs. W.  Professionally, I have over 20 years of experience as a Props technician, maintenance lead, and project coordinator for Cirque du Soleil in the Las Vegas valley.  I have worked with small hand props, large acrobatic elements, stunt weaponry, magic props, electrical props, remote-controlled props, drones and puppets.  

 

I am proud to join the Desert Oasis High School CTE Technical Theatre Department this year!  The students, staff, and parents have welcomed me and I am humbled.  Our department of about 200 students have already produced two ambitious projects with more on the way.  I love the energy and enthusiam that your students have already brought to me and the shows we produce.

 

Personally, I am a proud mom of an outstanding college student, who is currently studying film in Los Angeles.  Between raising my own teenage son, substitute teaching for CCSD, and volunteering for my local church youth, I feel that I fit right in at D.O.H.S.!
